One of the more complex parts realized by our specialized people is the so called “Deflector Tube”, a part used in special magnetron application. Although it is not revealed by its shape, the basis of this part is a round copper blank, cut out of sheet material. With the use of a number of well calculated chronological deep drawing steps, with intermediate heat treatment, the specific shape, with smooth surface and within the required tight tolerances, is created. Additional features are brought in and the part is high gloss nickel plated.
